This is historic. Let us recognize it. Being heard before the Supreme Court of Canada is exceptionally difficult — nine out of ten cases are systematically rejected. Despite this, for the first time in history, a naturopathy practitioner is taking their case all the way to the country's highest court — for us, for you, and for your freedom to consult whoever you choose.
This battle concerns us all. Every Quebecer, every Canadian. If we want to preserve our right to choose freely, this question must be settled once and for all.
Your contribution will help us defend everyone's right to access natural healthcare all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

The Collège des Médecins officially mandates a person (who will act as a fake client) with the objective of trapping Mrs. Juneau.
A 90-minute consultation booked by the CMQ spy is conducted under false pretenses and is filmed and recorded without Madame Juneau's knowledge.
Four notices of violation were officially served on Annie Juneau by a bailiff, and a fifth was served on the Vitacru Clinic regarding its website.
The trial in the Court of Quebec is taking place.
A guilty verdict on all five counts is rendered by Judge Caroline Roy.
The trial at the Superior Court of Quebec is taking place.
Judge Royer rejects Madame Juneau's appeal and upholds the previous guilty verdict.
The hearing for leave to appeal is held at the Court of Appeal of Quebec.
Following the hearing, a favorable judgment was rendered in favor of Ms. Juneau. The highest court in Quebec has agreed to review the complete file and confirms the concerns raised by Ms. Juneau.
Begins preparation of the detailed appeal brief. This is a very lengthy document detailing our appeal and supporting our points of law.
Annie and Stéphane took advantage of the holiday season to analyze all of Quebec's case law from the last fifty years. Nearly a hundred files, each over thirty pages long, were analyzed, summarized, and documented. Furthermore, an analysis of current doctrine, as well as the governing laws and regulations, was also found and analyzed.
Everything has been digitized, converted to Word format, and saved onto a USB drive. This drive is with the current lawyers so they can begin drafting the brief.

Review, corrections, and a few adjustments, and the electronic version of the thesis is done. Two thousand five hundred photocopies later, everything is bound and transmitted to the involved parties. The CMQ now has 60 days to complete its submission.

The big day has arrived. The day.
A milestone has just been reached in Quebec. We have just received our judgment from the Court of Appeal of Quebec.
Following the response received from the judges of the Court of Appeal of Quebec, we have made several changes within our reality: we have thanked our lawyer.
It has been decided that from now on, we will represent ourselves and do the work ourselves. This will allow us to minimize costs and manage our own case.
Following the filing of our request for authorization, the lawyers for the CMQ have in turn filed a "response letter" in which they attempt to outline the seriousness of the actions taken by the Plaintiff.
Following the filing of the "reply letter" by the CMQ, we legally had the right to file a further reply to the comments and statements made in the CMQ's document. We did this. A superb 10-page document was filed with the Supreme Court clerk.
We are now awaiting the Supreme Court of Canada's decision on whether they will hear our case. To be continued...
